about us
The friendliest little garbage company around
At Adams Sanitation, we pride ourselves on delivering waste solutions that are built around our customers, not the other way around. Our focus is simple: provide dependable service options that meet the unique needs of each household, church, and business we serve.
We accommodate our customers through a variety of service offerings, including twice-weekly residential pickup, recycling services, bulk and yard waste collection, commercial dumpster service, and compactor solutions for higher volume operations. In certain areas, we also offer our ValueCart once-weekly service for customers who produce less waste. We proudly extend church discounts as part of our commitment to supporting the communities we serve.
Our goal is not to push a single service model. Instead, we work to provide the right combination of frequency, container options, and additional services so customers receive exactly what fits their needs at a fair and competitive price.
The waste industry continues to evolve rapidly and requires significant investment in technology, equipment, people, and innovation. Adams Sanitation is committed to continuous improvement, ensuring we deliver reliable service, operational efficiency, and long-term value to our customers.
If you are already an Adams Sanitation customer, thank you for trusting us with your service. It is our privilege to serve you. If you are exploring residential, recycling, bulk, yard waste, commercial dumpster, or compactor services, we would be honored to earn your business.

Our History
Northwest Florida is a beautiful and largely rural place to live today. In the 1980s, it was even more sparsely populated when Mike and Martha Adams decided to start a friendly little garbage company to serve their neighbors. They named it Adams Sanitation, a name that has remained part of the local landscape ever since, even if it is occasionally spelled a few different ways. What began as a small operation serving friends and family in Holt, Florida quickly became a trusted name in rural waste collection. The early Adams Sanitation team served customers throughout Holt, Baker, Milligan, and other rural communities across Okaloosa County. Growth was steady and rooted in relationships, reliability, and a commitment to personal service.
After Mike Adams passed away in 1994, Martha continued operating the business on her own, demonstrating resilience and dedication to the customers who depended on her service. In 2000, she remarried and ran the company alongside her husband, Sonny Booth. Together, they continued building the company and serving the community until 2018.
In 2018, the business was sold to Northwest Florida entrepreneurs Crystal and Nathan Boyles. At the time of the transition, Adams Sanitation served just over 2,000 customers. Under the Boyles’ leadership, the company experienced significant expansion in both service area and operational capacity. By the end of 2025, Adams Sanitation serves well over 30,000 customers and continues to grow. Today, Adams Sanitation is no longer limited to the Florida Panhandle. In addition to our continued growth across Northwest Florida, we now operate an office in Decatur County, Georgia, expanding our footprint while maintaining our commitment to local service and community relationships.
Martha Adams passed away in 2021, leaving behind a lasting impact on the communities she faithfully served. From its humble beginnings in Holt to its multi state presence today, Adams Sanitation remains grounded in the same values it was founded on: hard work, community commitment, and dependable service.
